I was looking for a cool looking coffee maker, small, not too many cups and sleek.

Krups was perfect.It fits well in my small kitchen, coffee is hot, easy to brew and fast. The price was perfect and better than at the ones in the department stores. -- Great Value, Hot Coffee, Nice Design

All of the complaints I have ever had about any other coffee maker do not apply to this one. It brews coffee quickly, the automatic pause actually works, and the spout is long enough to prevent spilling. I recommend this brand highly! -- Best Coffee Maker I Have Ever Owned

The blurb for coffee makers always includes the claims that the coffee is brewed "at precisely the right temperature," and that the "pause" feature allows the user to get a cup before the pot has finished brewing. In my experience, both claims are usually false: the temperature is rarely correct, and the pause feature allows the coffee to drip on the hot plate. We are all familiar with that hissing sound.

This coffee maker's blurb includes both claims, but they are true! How do I know the brewing temperature is correct? The TASTE! And the pause feature does NOT let the coffee drip. The blurb also claims that this maker is very fast. It is. I recently bought a Cuisinart 4-cup coffee maker; in my review I gave it one star. The contrast with this one is as great as could be. This is a very nice machine...and the TASTE of coffee brewed at the right temperature is still in my mouth. Highly recommended. (BTW "10-cup" means 10 x 5oz) -- What a coffee maker should be!

We had a krups coffee pot that belonged to my in-laws for at least 20 years. We inherited it after they passed away and had it 5 more years. When it finally died we decided to get another Krups. After researching all the models Krups has we decided on this one. We've had it for about a month now and it's been great. Works great, makes the coffee fast, the timer works great. We like the little clock on the front. It looks nice, easy to clean. I do prop the top open so it will dry out during the day. But that's just me I've done that with any coffee pot I've owned.
As with all "stainless" steels...it does get finger prints on it. I just use a little bit of Windex to clean it up. We like this coffee pot a lot and would recommend it highly. -- Krups Coffee pots last forever!

Picked this up for my 84 year old mom as a replacement for her vintage Braun. This machine is simple to use, makes great hot coffee, looks good, and the 2 hour auto shutoff is a plus feature. -- the perfect replacement
